Boy, am I glad I found this forum. Had my SCS trial last week. The actual implant trial went well, but the procedure had a few problems. Punctured dura during the lead implant. Headaches still (5 days later) More disconcerting, though, is tingling in my legs (mostly in the back). I thought it might be residual sensation from the trial, but it does feel different, and I'm noticing more weakness in my left leg. Now, when they removed the lead, they hit something on the way out - I felt a jolt mostly focust in my left hip and down the outside of my left leg, that causd me to jump and yell out loud enough to scare my wife, out in the waiting room.
Is the parasthesia normal? Should I be worriend? Should I find another pain clinic? Help!

Parasthesia that long after a trial isn't normal. I would definitely be concerned and would first contact the doc who conducted your trial. Ask some questions and see what kind of a feeling you get from that. If you don't feel comfortable, then by all means I would say looking for a new PM is something to consider. Did the doc do a blood patch for you after puncturing the dura? If you still have headaches 5 days later you should be under the docs' care.
That's my gut feel on things from what you describe.
