I have been writing about my T8-9 Surgery done minamally
invasive a few times and wanted to let you all know how well I'm finally doing! It took three months before I could move around. I was about to give up hope, but I finally can see the light at the end of the tunnel! I am doing much better and had left some pretty bleak messages about the surgery and just found out I have pancreatitous which apparantly causes much of the same pain as the surgical pain. My neurosurgeon looked at my MRI and said the Doctor that did my Surgery did a great job on my spine. If you're looking for a Thoracic Surgeon that can do the Surgery with only a 2 inch incision, email me. He is one of only a handfull that can do this kind of surgery in the U.S.
Glad to hear that your surgery went well. I am going to have to have this surgery as well. When I read about the surgery it really scares me to death. So how long are you going to be down?
