referred pain

Hello to all. I have been noticing lately a lot of tender points from my shoulder blades and ribs down to my left hip. Today I touched my hip and it send a pain up to my thoracic area (the site of my chronic pain). Has this happened to anybody else?

Thoracic spine pain, scoliosis. Hip pain. Dx w/post-herpetic neuralgia(how that could happen w/out having shingles is beyond me). Meds: Vicodin. Neurontin 1500 mgs.Nortriptyline 50 mgs. Celexa 40 mgs. OTC NSAIDS

Yep

I have had that happen before. Not nessasarily to my thoracic area but I have touched a tender spot and have it shoot to another part of my body.
