After a herniation of T3-T4 in a bad car accident I am now pain free after buying a bed where I sleep upright. If you suffer from pain during the night and then in the morning and it lessens during the day and is almost gone by night you are in pain because you are sleeping supine and should sleep in a bed that can allow you to sleep with your back upright like in a car seat but maybe not that upright. It worked for me. I am pain free 3 days after sleeping in a bed I got from Relax The Back Store but I am not saying you should shop there. Look for better deals online for used beds on craigslist.org.
