Thoracic Sine Surgery 2 inch incision

There has been alot of interest about my T 8-9 disc surgery, so I thought I would update my post to anyone who is interested in my surgery 4 months ago with a 2 inch incision and no rib removal. My recovery has been tough but I am over the surgical pain. It was 3 months before I could move around or drive but I am much better now with just alot of nerve pain that I was told to expect that for quite some time.

I know how hard it is to find Surgeons that will do surgery on the thoracic spine so if you want to know more you can write me a pm anytime.

Hi Renee

Was yours done from the back? I'm having a t1/2 in 3 weeks and they are able to get to it through my neck with just a 2 inch incision.

I've been warned that there will be alot of muscle pain afterward. But they said 2-3 weeks not months.

There isn't much anywhere about this area of the spine. Guess we are just the lucky ones!! lol
