Graft
Definition
Graft displacement refers to the dislodgment of a bone graft resulting in a failed fusion surgery (pseudoarthrosis).Surgical implants, such as bone screws, rods and bone plates are used to fixate the bone graft in order to provide stability and enable fusion of the graft across the vertebral disc space. Graft displacement may require follow-up surgery.
