Alcohol's Effect on Men and Osteoporosis

Most boys achieve maximum height and bone length during their teenage years, but bone density can continue to increase until about 30 years of age. After age 30, bones start to lose density. While the specific effects of alcohol on osteoporosis aren’t exactly known, there is a clear correlation. Moderating alcohol consumption is an important factor in maintaining the health of bones, as well as the rest of the body.
