Live pain free
with tens therapy
TENS technology offers drug-free
relief for muscle and joint pain.
Do you experience acute or chronic pain?
Are you seeking a non-invasive, drug-free solution to ease pain?
Do you need relief at-home and on-the-go?
What is TENS Therapy?
Transcutaneous Electrical Stimulation (TENS) Therapy uses low-voltage electrical currents to relieve pain. The electrical stimulation helps block pain signals traveling to the brain and produce natural painkillers. TENS therapy is drug-free, non-invasive, and works fast. TENS therapy made its way into homes after it was adapted from a clinic machine to a hand-held unit for patients use.
How TENS Machines Work
The key to TENS therapy is the use of electrical impulses to control the way the brain processes pain signals from affected areas. TENS allows the patient to control these impulses by restoring normal impulses from the body’s extremities to the spine. TENS accomplishes this through the production of natural “feel good” chemicals such as endorphins, enkephalins and dynorphins. TENS inhibits pain signals that originate from the spine and inhibits the function of nerves that may be abnormally excited.
Electrical current travels along nerves
Gel pads are placed on the affected area, and the user feels a deep massaging sensation. This is the electrical current traveling across the nerve fibers.
Pain signals are blocked
The electrical current inhibits pain signals from being sent and received by the brain’s pain center.
Natural painkillers are released
The body releases natural painkillers: endorphins, enkephalins, and dynorphins.
This has given me a positive outlook on life, I feel stronger, and I feel like nothing can stop me now.

The Science Behind TENS
Dr. Stuart M. McGill conducted a study to determine the effectiveness of an at-home TENS device.
This study found that TENS therapy can:
The study showed that patients reported a noticeable difference in their perceived levels of pain after using the TENS device for only 20 minutes.
Reduce muscle tension and spasms
The study found that using TENS therapy significantly reduced muscle tension and spasms in patients in one use.
Increase tissue oxygenation
Patients using TENS therapy were measured with Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS) technology and showed a measurable increase in blood flow and the rate of oxygen consumption in the body.
The study demonstrated TENS therapy's ability to encourage blood circulation, promoting faster and more efficient transportation of nutrients to the body’s cells. Learn more about this clinical study
