Incision & Muscles 4wks post-op

I'm 4 weeks post-op for L2-L3 laminectomy and tumor resection. My incision is about 61/2" long. The top 2 inches or so started leaking a few days ago. Not a lot but strange because it wasn't leaking before. I saw a nurse and my surgeon and they both seem to think it is not infected but it might be a stitch trying to work its way to the surface. I felt like my incision was doing so well...no pain, dry, only a few scabs...but now...ugh!

Also, I still can't sit or stand in one spot for very long. The muscle spasms on either side of my incision are atrocious! Shouldn't I be starting to regain the use of my muscles by now?

Anyone else have similar experiences with their surgeries?
