I have had an ACDF a few years ago and now the pain is back. My Dr. says there is another disc herniated on the right side on a different level. I wonder if the pain ever ends. I also had Trigeminal Neuralgia and had the Gamma Knife procedure four years ago. That left my face numb but at least it cured the pain. This neck thing is awful though. I don't want another surgery but I've got to work so not much choice there. :''(

  • Hi trip,

Welcome to spine-health from a fellow Missourian. Sorry to hear about having another disc go out. There is a lot of information to gather here. I'm sure you will find other members who have gone through the some of the same things. I myself have gone through four neck surgeries and understand how it can bring you down. Anyway welcome to the forums and look forward to reading more of your post. What levels have you had operated on before and what level is out now.
