Recovering from CDF surgery

:) I am four weeks post op from a cervical discectomy with fusion.  I am having pain almost constantly between my shoulder blades during the day.  Then at night I'm having pain in the back of my neck as well as sometimes during the day.  I'm miserable!  I'm wondering if anyone has had this same experience.   I didn't have any pain the first two weeks except for my sore throat.  Unfortunately, after my surgery was complete and I'm in the waiting phase, my neck began to swell and they had to rush me back into surgery for a blood clot in my neck.  They took care of it and I was fine, thank the good Lord.  I wonder if that has anything to do with the pain that I continue to have.
