Med changes

Does any one eles have sever migraines & spinal damage?  I have been on the same medications for 20 years, my doctor died and I have been to another doctor that does not prescribe my meds.. I live in Florida. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to find a doctor that understands that most medications for pain cause my migraines to be more intense. I don't use any narcotics.. Thanks

  • A headache specialist might be a good idea. There are many of them these days , who specialize in treating headaches from various causes.

Rebound headaches from opiates is a common occurrence, which is why many Dr's don't use them, instead use preventatives and headache abortives instead.
