About 4 months ago i underwent a procedure (litatripsy) sense the procedure i have lower back pain on the same side i had the stone on. This pain is sometimes acute and sometimes not at all. bending over now is difficult. Has anyone experienced this sort of thing. what may be causing this?

Thanks for any input you may have.

  • Hi Danny~
I'm not sure what could be the diagnosed problem that you are having but i do wonder if you have some deep tissue bruising.I would like to encourage you to go back to see your doctor amd explain these new symptoms to get his opnion. Good luck getting some relief!
  • Thanks,

I think the wife has made an appointment. Do you know how long bruising can last? the pain is almost to the right side above my hip.But never had it prior to the procedure.

  • My husband also had a kidney stone broken up with this procedure and he had a stint in and was in some pain afterwards but I do not think it lasted 4 months. You may want to see your PCP about this new pain instead of your urologist. good luck and keep us posted.
