Is scar tissue an issue after cervical fusion, or is it usually only a problem after lumbar surgery?

  • I understand that it can be an issue after either surgery.
    Keep positive!

  • I never really thought about it. I work very diligently to keep the scar tissue from building up in my lower spine by doing alot of stretching. I guess doing the same for the c-spine if possible would make sense,

  • But I would expect scar tissue can be issue wherever you have surgery, not just on the spine. I hope someone else can tell us for certain!
