1 Year Post Surgery Back Pain with Cold/Flu Symptoms

Hey guys,

Almost one year ago I had a bi-lateral decompression at L3-4 and L5-S1 (left). I haven't caught anything too severe since surgery.. However, I seem to be catching a cold or flu or something, I definitely have body aches.

Has anyone else experienced worsened/severe pain in their lower back post surgery with a sickness? I don't know if this is normal or maybe if it's the weather change in Northern Virginia.(Which, the weather changes pretty much every day lately) And if so, what was your remedy? I have tried heat, painkillers, muscle relaxers, stretches, walks, and laying on the floor, in a chair and in bed with feet elevated.
