Question about the fusion of "S1"

I have struggled with lower back pain for many years and have always ended up with no answers as to why. I have recently been referred to a new doctor who has been doing a in depth diagnosis. One comment that was made on a recent x-ray states that I have a Questionable incomplete fusion of the posterior elements of S1. I haven't been able to find too much information about it but from what I have it describes my pain to a science. Does anyone else have this or know about it that could possibly shed more light on it?
