Not fused

Hello! 11 months ago I had a fusion on L1/L2. I have had all the hardware removed. I am having horrible pain in my back. After a new CT scan it shows that the fusion is not fused. I don’t know why, I don’t smoke. My doctor is saying that I am out of  options  expect for putting a pain  stimulator pump in . Has anyone had this happen?

    Welcome to Spine-health

It is very surprising to read that hardware was removed, before it was checked that you had fused?

I have not had this experience but wanted to welcome you to the site.

I have added two links below to help new members with information on this very informative site.  There is lots of material to research that will help give you the power of knowledge and maybe some new ways of coping with your pain, until you can get more help with this.
