Swollen incision after spine surgery

hi all

I had a spine surgery 3 weeks ago. I had no swelling the first 2 weeks but after they removed my staples all 45 of them, my incision is very swollen. I also had a little spinal fluid leak last week but doctor put me back on bed rest hoping it fixes on its own. Nothing coming of the incision. I have bad headaches that come and go even when I’m laying down.

I’m terified of going under the knife again.  Any body else experienced such a swelling that finally went down on its own?

I have nerve damage from removing the tumor so I have a lot of weekness and numbness on my legs. Can’t walk on my own yet :(

Thank you
