Does this sound like another herniated disc

I know this site can only offer advise I’m just wondering if anyone else has experienced the same symptoms so I know I’m not alone. Since may 2015 I have had numbness, tingling and twitching mainly in my legs but all over my body aswell. I had an mri in July 2016 which showed I do have herniated discs L4/5 and L5/S1 and one in the lower Thoratic I have forminal stenosis on the right side and disc degeneration has started to take place and bone marrow signal has been seen. I am under a neurologist and have had an emg. I do have peripheral nerve hyperexcitability aswell. I am going to write to my neurologist as I don’t see him till January but for the last 3 weeks I’ve had excruciating burning pain in my shoulder, inner forearm and middle finger all on my right side. I’m wondering if I’ve got another disc gone in my cervical region now? I have looked at the charts and it seems to match up. I have also had tingling in my sacral region too. Is it unusual to get both regions play up at the same time? Does the cold weather affect the pain? I definitely need to get in with my own gp in the mean time as it feels like I’m being stabbed in my forearm most the day and working as a cashier in a supermarket it isn’t easy. Has anyone else had these pains? For the last 3 days I’ve also been going dizzy for the fun of it

  • Hi fozzierach11

It is always good to report new symptoms of this kind, so you are doing the right thing, especially if this is a new area of pain and not covered by a recent MRI.

If you can put a call in the medical team or secretary for a quicker response, that is another option.
