How many people are experiencing LEFT back pain?

So my wife has been suffering greatly from pain at and under the shoulder blade parallel to the T4 and it radiates into the trap muscle and on up to the base of the skull where a large lump forms when the pain is worse. Now the CRAZY part...my brother and I are both starting to experience the same thing on the LEFT side as well as tons of others on this forum. So what is it with the left side? There's got to be some sort of significance to it being more common on the left??? Is there a variable we are overlooking? Cell phones is a one to question but I'm really curious if I am right about it being left side dominate!

  • Are you and your brother left-handed?

  • I am the only left handed of the three

  • Could there be a correlation between the left arm being tucked in tight at a desk job whereas the mobility in the right with the mouse prevents this.
