Spine suddenly curved, bouts of great pain - Some help found

My lower back was hurting periodically over a couple of months.  It would get better with moderate exercise, but start freezing up when I did not exercise.

Then a week ago, it started to hurt quite a bit and I was having occasional pain walking and could not bend over.

I saw two chiropractors who adjusted me but no help.

It got worse and I was noticeably bent to the left.  People were shocked who saw me.

Then three nights ago, it started actively spasming and causing great pain.  (Pain scale = 7).  It was periodic and I could mostly avoid it by keeping weight off it but it was scary.

After a couple of hours of this, I realized that this might not be a spine issue so much as a muscle issue. The muscles are pulling the spine out of alignment - the spine might be an innocent victim.

I have homeopathics for muscle cramps (Hylands #8 at Whole Foods) and they have always helped.  I took a bunch of them and I stopped having the great pain spasms.

For the last three days, I have spasms still and they hurt, but 5's and 6's, not 7's, and not as often.

For someone experiencing this, this is a big difference.

I have gotten an x-ray and will be trying to meet with a doctor on it today.

This morning I woke up and the spine has largely straightened out.  I think this might just be the issue running its course.

The stiffness is still there and it can still spasm.  Hopefully I will get through this.
