ifuse implant

Hi I had SI joint fusion using the ifuse implants about 3 years ago. I had no pain all the time I was on crutches but as soon as I started walking on it the pain starts up again. I was wondering if anyone has had an mri scan with these implants? I went to have an mri but I was told that not enough research has been done with the implants so they wouldn't scan me. A surgeon found a scan from 5 years ago which had fluid on my facet joints which nobody else has noticed so he wanted new scans done.

  • I think mris are allowed with iFuse as they are made of titanium . I had an MRI with a titanium clip in with no problems.  Are you still having problems after iFuse ? S
