  • Hi, my simpathy goes out to all that have had a back injoury.
I have a work related back injoury herniated discs L4 L5 since 2002 thank God I got a good Attorney right away. To make a long story short. Its ok to settle part of your claim but never sell off your WC Medical. If you have future complications WC won't cover it, You can't get Insurance for a pre exixting condition and Medicare or Medical will not cover it. You will have to pay cash for meds and sergery.
WC is a hastle, sciatic nerve pain is horrible, stress does cause more pain but be patient.
Hopefully it will all work out for you eventually.
    God Bless
P.S. Most Attorneys work on a 9% to 12% commission at settlement. I don't begrudge them their fees, they are worth it and they earn it.
