psyc exam

:))) I hope someone can help me. I have to have a psyc exam before my Dr. will do a spinal cord nerve stimulator insert. Any help or advise from anyone? Many thanks

  • opus- I had a pain pump trial once and did not have to have a separate exam then. There are members who post I think in the Treatment section-Pain Management..jade
  • Just be yourself. That's the best thing you can do. Basically if you were to try and make them think one thing about yourself that isn't quite "everyday" then you get an SCS and a few months or a year down the road you freak and now what?

    It's not a big deal, they are just wanting to make sure you are in the right frame of mind about treating your pain and that you aren't going to have any issues with having an implant.

    Be yourself.
