C3-4 bulging disc affecting swallowing and raspy voice?

last Saturday I sneezed and instantly I heard a pop in my throat and could not swallow, causing excruciating pain when I did, which caused shooting pain up my neck giving me bad headaches. ER X-ray and ct scan showed nothing. Called my chiro just in case and he suggested a herniated disc. So almost a week later with fighting with my own family doctor about getting an MRI I found out that I have a bulging disc in my c3-4 and some central stenosis. Now a week later and some pain every time I drink, swallow or eat (not as bad as when I went to the ER) I have a very raspy voice also. Could the bulging disc be causing this? I’d assume there are more cases of this? I’ve read on some people having trouble swallowing but not where they couldn’t swallow. What are the treatments for something like this? My voice and throat are still pretty crappy. Thanks

  • I think so...the reason is I had a hard time swallowing and I have a herniated disc also at C3-4.
