Endometriosis of the sciatic nerve

Today I watched Mystery Diagnosis, this one was about endometriosis of the sciatic nerve. I don’t think I had heard anything about that before. I did a quick search here on Spine-health, but nothing current, and mainly just about endometriosis in general.

I did find some information on other sites, but I’m still interested to see if any women here have had any experience with this diagnosis, and their results of treatment , or surgery to alleviate the pain.

I don’t believe I have endometriosis of the sciatic nerve, but it did raise my eyebrows on some of the symptoms that were similar to what I’ve experienced.

  • This is interesting. I have endometriosis and sciatica.

    Hey Annie Marie....

Did you find any information about endometriosis of the sciatic nerve?

I had endometriosis when I was in my child bearing years, then had a complete hysterectomy in 2009.

I do have some issues with pelvic floor dysfunction (scar tissue from birth of first son in 1985) and more so from scar tissue from lumbar fusion back in 2015.
