AdaptiveStim Setup

Hi there,

I had a Medtronic spinal cord stimulator implanted about 2 months ago and am optimistic about the benefits it will give me. Why I'm reaching out is my rep just turned on the AdaptiveStim feature and I'm having difficulty setting it up.

If there is any advice I would love to hear it. The way she described how to set it up is to set the intensity where I want it, and hold my position for 60 seconds. This doesn't seem to be working. Only twice in the last few days I have seen a message on my remote saying "Updating position settings". I am getting lots of surges despite trying to set the AdaptiveStim.

If anyone has been thru this process I would love to hear from you. Thanks in advance for your advice.

i have added two links below to help new members with information and these also contain the forum rules.  there is lots of material to research on spine-health that will give you the power of knowledge.
