Hi I am new to this site and I will try to be brief . I had a accident last October and first MRI showed herniation on L4-L5 and L5-S1. I had a steroid epidural for my back and right away after the procedure I was in extreme pain. It’s been two months and pain Is worst then before the epidural. The pain gets worst when I sit, when I walk 8 steps, stand and lay down.
This week I was sitting down and I tried to get up to walk but was not able to move legs. Went to the ER where they perform MRI of the Lumbar, Thoracic and Cervical but Neurologist sayid that MRI result came up negative. He said is that I have to see a pain specialist and that was it.
I am so confuse now and upset. I do not want to see another pain specialist and for him to put another needle on my back. What should I do? Should I see a neurosurgeon that specializes on Spine conditions? I am just afraid that if I schedule and appointment with a Neurosergeon he would not see me since the the MRI results at the hospital came up negative. Thank you so much in advance for your comments.
