Peparing for Revision Surgery

Can anyone give me any ideas on what i need to do to prepare for surgery? Im having posterior revision of c7 t1 acdf. I have multiple cervical fusions and lumbar DDD managed by injections and meds,  I dont know how long I might need help at home? Since my shoulder muscles will be cut into, how long will that affect my ability to use my arms if at all? Is there anything i should be doing to prepare my home? Is 6 weeks leave from (sedentary) work enough? Surgery is in a few weeks. I've tried to stay active and am hoping for a relatively quick recovery. Thanks.
