Piriformis syndrome has by far been the worst chronic pain I have ever had.  Even worse than contractions! I've done Physical Therapy. I've done the stretches. I am on pain medication. I have done everything I can possibly think of to ease this pain and it will not go away. It is always the worse right when I get up out of bed. Some days it's worse when I'm trying to sit somedays it's worse when I'm trying to walk. I just do not understand this. I am scheduled for a botox injection sometime hopefully next week. I pray that it helps.
