  • So sorry you are in such intractable pain.  I do hope the nerve block helps. I can hear in your words that in addition to the pain,

you feel  frustrated and powerless. Challenging for everyone involved.

Glad you are able to share with us...we are listening.

  • Hi Anieta,

I don't normally get on the forum much nowadays but when I saw this my heart went out to you.  I'm so sorry that you are in so much pain. Don't feel bad about taking the pain pills, we have all been there and understand.  Perhaps you could talk to your doctor about an ER pain pill like Targin.  I'm quite mad at that husband of yours. He sounds quite narcissistic. I wish I could be there for you.  Instead I can only send you a cyber hug from Australia.  Please don't feel alone.  Take one day at a time and hopefully things will start to ease over time.

    Thinking of you, Phil

  • Is there anyway you can get a second opinion?

No one should be living life with a 24/7 pain level of 8-10.

That’s way too taxing on the body.

Also I would think setting an alarm would create a mental type of torture.

If you’re not getting enough coverage with your current medication I would explain this to your doctor.

Someone else mentioned an ER medication. You may want to bring that up to your doctor.
