Saw a spine specialist a few days ago.

They took a couple of xrays, pulled up my MRI results. The PA went over everything with me and said they do not recommend surgery. I also have a bum shoulder, too many years of sports and general abuse. It could be a contributor of my back pain. I'll be going to PT and possibly shoulder surgery after that.

Diagnosis: Thoracic facet syndrome & cervical and thoracic radiculopathy from car accident trauma.
