20 year old chronic back pain

Hi I am a 20 yr old male that has been experiencing back pain while standing. I can do physical activity fine, but after standing still for 20-30 min I start to feel pain and discomfort in my lower back. The pain is immediately alleviated by sitting down. My question is should I go see a doctor about this?

Soccerboi - Pain is the body's way of telling you something is wrong.  How long have you been experiencing this pain?  Was it triggered by an event, like a fall or trauma?  If this has been going on for more than a couple of weeks, I'd think it would be worth seeing your PCP (family doctor) for starters.
