Severe nerve damage due from bone fragments hitting nerve before surgery

I had back surgery about 2 years ago. Had no idea I was having problems till i thought it was my Sciatica in my back. Went to the chiropractor 2xs a day for 2 days...after the 3rd visit...i was on my way to the ER! Could not walk, or do anything. Went in for emergency surgery..i had a herniated disk, disk fragments floating and hitting my nerve, and dislocated disk ( I think that was the other issue). Anyway, had no idea I was suppose to do physical therapy, dr said if the pain in my left wasnt better in 6 months...it would never go away. I cant take it...it makes my foot hurt, pins and needles, HORRIBLE CHARLIE
