Is it sciatica or muscle cramps?

I'm a 25 old male and recently suffered a injury with lifting a semi-heavy object. Over the next few days I started having some numbness in my thigh when sitting down, but no pain. The following week I started to become a little more active and I started to have some pain in my leg, but it only lasted for 15 minutes that day and I didn't have any back pain. The following day  my pain has been centralized to my right calf. When I sit down even for a long time I feel fine. Only when I get up and start walking do I get some calf pain. The pain in the back off my caff and no where else. My question is could this be sciatica or could it be I pulled a muscle along my leg? Gone to the ER and my primary but they aren't sure what it could be.

  • If I were you I’d see a neurosurgeon and maybe he or she can order an MRI. It’s impossible to say what might be going on.
