I have had 2 fusions this year. My neck was an emergency with a sever spinal chord compression and fluid build up in ny spinal chord. The second was for my lumbar for significant spinal stenosis and spondelolesthesis..So happy to report that I walked a 1/2 mile 2 days in a row ! I am doing errands , making dinner , doi g laundry, and getting my life backI am Using an app to track my steps and choose my walking workout. It can be customized and has access tonphysical therapists for advice. Not sure if I can share the name of the app. I have made a playlist of sonhs that help to motivate me . “This is my fight song” is the song I play first with every movement activity I do . I also have kept a weekly journal. Once a week I write down what I can do this week. It has helped me realize that I am making progress even when I felt like it was slow. These things have helped me tremendously . I hopenit helps someone else
