Leg spasms

Hi, I'm new to this site. I'm on it all the time reading things, but I've never made a post to my own.

I have chronic pain in my cervical, lumbar, and thoracic region. I have some compressed disc, osteoarthritis, and nerve damage.

To make a long story short, for the past 18 months I've been having severe leg spasms that will wake me up. Two or three a week on average, sometimes they're okay and I can just wait and I'll pass. About once a month I will have such severe pain that I will pass out, and have incontinence. Just wondering if anybody else has this, is it common to have such severe spasms in your lower limbs do to compressed disc. I have spasms in my neck and my back all the time, so that I am used to. But in my calves and feet, it is so extreme that I pass out, I'm not sure the duration.
