Spinal Cord Stimulator (SCS)

My name is Becky and I live in beautiful southern Oregon. I’ve had two back surgeries but the last one in 2011 failed.  On June 21 I underwent surgery and my back surgeon implanted the spinal cord stimulator. It was an extremely painful recovery and I have several months of healing ahead. The hardest part is knowing that I can no longer work full-time and need to contact an attorney and apply for permanent disability. Knowing I’m not alone on this journey helps more than you know. I did not know this group existed and appreciate being part of this discussion.  Thank you.

  • I'm facing the same thing. My friend has a stimulator and it helped to a degree and then all of a sudden just stopped! I hope that you have success with yours and support. The doctors never truly prepare you for the outcome.  I will pray for you!! Renee'
