  • LesLucid: I wanted to formally apologize to you. I replied to your post in pain and a bit frantic after what I have been going through. So, I am sorry. After trying to calm down a bit I have reread through posts, I wanted to give you a proper response. I am sorry that the re injury occurred to you. I thank you for sharing your story with me. Initially I have suffered anxiety problems once my R leg started shutting down on me and I could not bend over and became frantic. Yes, I pissed of members of the clinic at the hospital from this~being frantic~ but in my defense....I have never been through this before. When you have children (which i do, and are young) that you are responsible for and other responsibilities...and there is pain present, it affected my thinking. I know thats not upbeat, or uplifiting thing to say...but it is the truth.

For anyone interested: Three injections completed and still doing physical therapy. Minimal improvements from the injections (and 1000$ later, out of my pocket). My doctor says I am in the 15-20% that does not get better. I am able to walk short distances and not be in much pain unless my activity level goes up, my leg and back shuts down. I cannot do basic functions such as laundry or dishes without help. I called yesterday and told the doc I was okay with surgery as it seems the conservative treatments have helped some, and I am thankful for that, but I cannot walk far without my R leg shutting down and pain increases along with my activity levels. I am praying, being hopefull and trying to calm down a bit.

On top of everything, I have cut my nicotine in half to try and accelerate healing and also for probable surgery. I had anxiety before this (LOL!!!) so ...yeah. But it just is what it is!! I have cut my nicotine in half now and looking into Zyban to help me stop all together.
