Upper back pain below ribs after Lumbar fusion L4/5

Had a spinal fusion decompression of Lumbar 4/5 on May 8th. All of the pain associated with it is gone. I do however suffer now from upper back pain on right side right below my ribcage. I am going for a thoracic MRI today. I am wondering if anyone out there experienced anything like this after a lower back surgery? I have also had three neck fusions so my spine has seen a lot of surgeries over the last twenty years. Thank you for reading this and I appreciate your input.
