time to put my new plan into action i think,ive put on 1 pound and to be honest im not surprised ive not planned anything the last week so what can i expect,but this week im going to put alot of effort into it,for me i need to plan ahead and i plan to lose atleast 1-2 pounds this week

Hope you al did better than me, not hard to do lol,


  • :) good morning benji, atleast you have a game plan!! that is what counts. it is still early here, 3:30 and i hate to weigh in yet but the scale says 4 pounds and i could not be happier!! =)) i really worked hard all week and am glad to see a positive result. =D> take care!! Jenny :)

    I've put on a pound aswell Ben. I've had a crap week and am expecting another crap week to follow!!

    I have to go away for a couple of nights for work, so any planning for me is out the window. I'll try my best though.

  • :) doof, put the week behind you and prepare for another. really try and substitute foods when you are eating out and away from home. bring some lowcal snacks and fruit with you. put a bowl of fresh fruit in your room and drink lots of water!! good luck this week. up for another pound next week?   • iv e just come back from using the gym and it feels good to be active again,so far the back is coping ok with it,long may it last

  • Well, I managed to maintain, it was actually a good lesson for me. I was careful with portions, no mindless snacking in the afternoons or after dinner (my great downfall), and a couple of indulgent meals with friends. So what I learned - when I actually DO reach my target weight, this is what I need to do to stay there, and maybe one or two meals a week with friends could be okay.

    benji - I'm with you, I need a plan for next week, and it needs to take into account that I am going to be dealing with pain which I conveniently try to forget...
    doof - you can definitely plan when traveling; I travel almost every month and bring healthy snacks (dried fruit, granola bars etc.). Planning is key.

  • :) aimless, maintenance is going to be the way to go one day and you have learned how! =D> i say that is a good week after all. i have been trying to lose and keep it off for a long time. it has taken many months of trial and error and starting Sparkpeople has made a world of difference as well. good luck this week! there is no day to start like today!   • Yes, your all right, I can plan ........... I've even been onto the hotel website and had a look at the menus to see what I can have!!!! How sad is that :S ???

    The beauty of being away is that I can't go to the cupboard or fridge for a snack ...... last time I did that the chef got a bit upset.
