AA injection cervical spine

Long time member here who co.especially and goes.  Hello again.

I am considering having an AA cervical spine injection (atlanto-axial joint).  My regular pain management doctor does not go that high and so I am seeing my pain pump doctor to talk about it with him..

I am looking for your experiences or thoughts--positive or negative.

I have had my share of complications so I know things happen.

Any thoughts?

My neurosurgeon and my PM doctor (also handles my pain pump) have both told me they would never go that high with injections. Both said the same thing, too close to the brain.
But I would like to know what you decide to do.
