Amrix (Anyone else take this?)

I've been taking Amrix for two months now. I found it worked for awhile, for I noticed my pain would lessen after I took it, but now I don't feel really much of a change. I'm on 15mg once a day. I have tried Flexeril since it is cheaper for me, but that stuff even on 5 mg made me off balance and sleepy.

My doctor's assistant can't believe Flexeril would make me all off balance but 15 mg of Amrix which is stronger doesn't do that.

I've tried Baclofen, but that doesn't do much, and I've tried Soma. Soma works best, but it doesn't last long enough. My neuro had me take a half of 350mg 3 to 4 times a day. Sometimes I could have sworn it increased my heart rate.

I see the neuro in two weeks, should I ask to try something else? I have a herniated disc C5 with Osteoarthritis in C5/6 with Bone Spurs. I'm also taking psych drugs cymbalta, lexapro, klonopin.

I just want the dull nagging ache and burning pains to go away in my arms/hands/legs/feet.

  • I have just began to take Amerix. Wow, it is expensive. The label said that my insurance saved me over $200 for a 30 day supply. I like that it is extended release. Less pills to take. I also do not think that I get as sleepy on this med. I take it before bed.
