Menstrual cramps after surgery

Hi everyone! I just had a disc replacement surgery on April 5th. I believe I am suffering from menstrual cramps right now. My question is it normal for the cramps to increase my back pain by a lot?

  • For me, my LBP feels like being in early stages of labor or really bad menstrual cramps. Mine can't be mentrual-related because I'm 55 and as I like to say "The [baby-making] factory has been torn down" (my uterus and ovaries removed) LOL!

For me, I label this pain in my low back as "constant, low-grade-achey" pain that's not really bad enough to do anything about- just enough to remind me it's there. Kinda like a bad virus that just will not go away :->

    Hope that helps
