    Yes, this is so terrible.  I hope  #1 That the firefighters are safe and #2 They can save part of the Cathedral

    I visited their in 1972, it is an amazing structure and means to much to so many people

  • Honestly a tragedy! The artifacts lost are irreplaceable! Reminded me so much of 9/11 When I saw it . I lost a lot of brothers as well as personal friends during that fire. Reopened a lot of mental wounds knowing what their firefighters were going through! Ron, you were blessed to have visited there!....David

    Thank goodness they have managed to salvage the cathedral, I haven't been in that cathedral but passed it on tours of Paris. 

    Money has been pledged to rebuild it, thankfully firefighters managed to save major artifacts. Praying it won't take too many years to give France back the Notre Dame.
