Microdiscectomy Recovery - When can I stand for long periods?

Hello! I am looking at doing an L4/L5 microdisectomy procedure in the next couple weeks (May 17). If I commit to the surgery on this date, that will give me 15 days to recover with nothing to do (no work/school/kids). However, after those 15 days, I will be starting a 2 month long summer class that is everyday, Monday-Thursday from 5 pm - 9 pm. I’ve spoken with the school, and having a standing option in the class room for the class is available, but I was curious, how long after surgery should I anticipate being able to stand for long periods of time? Is 2 weeks not enough time to recover before heading back to school? I am 24 years old and in decent health, of that helps with any predictions!
