Hi i am having ACDF surgery and sexual positions hurt , does any body have any ideas so it wont hurt so much

    Abstinence? Sorry, couldn't resist.  image:)" alt=">:)" height="20" /> Even after my fusions it is basically impossible for me as there is too much pain involved. My surgeon offered advice that included specific positions but nothing works so it is something else I've lost. I'd ask the surgeon or PA for specific advice.

    Lasvegasguy -  Did you already have your ACDF?  After my first ACDF healed, my sexual life returned to normal.  Ten years later after my second and third ACDFs, it totally changed my sexual life.  Those cervical failures that injured my spinal cord requiring my second and third ACDFs, changed everything.

    Were the earlier childish comments really necessary?

    I've been married to my spouse for decades.  To lose my ability to have physical sex with my spouse because of spinal cord injury is/was very tough to accept.  Me to, it is not a joke.
