:H vickyg here and though I have been coming to this sight for a long time, I've just recently started to participate. I'm 54/F/Ft.Lauderdale,FL. I am in the lower back pain and osteoarthritis group. I love this site and never found another one that is 1/10th as helpful. I have had facet joint injections and medial branch blocks and just last week had radio-frequency on 3 nerves. I have gone into the chat room a couple of times and think this is the greatest addition to the site. I've found so much info in here that has eased my anxiety from what was going on w/my condition and what was going to be done. Thanks ever so much for such a great bunch of people.

  • So funny and cool that I've gotten welcomes from the very ppl that I read/ most of their situations. Just wondering if it's true about the pain while the nerves are trying to die from RF is more then the procedure itself. Someone in chat told me the procedure was not that bad and they were right. Now, ouch. Thanks for reply.
  • vicky- welcome to site. I've had numerous injections in the lumbar and cervical areas. I think injections work well with some people. I guess it depends on where the injection is given, the reason for the injection and the skill of the dr giving the injection..take care.. :) jade
