  • I have never heard of this but wanted to welcome you to the forum. Hopefully someone will be along soon that is familiar with it. Good luck.
  • I'm not sure what the block would be, but my peronial nerve was blocked and I did not know it. I had developed foot drop and I ended up wearing a brace so I could walk without tripping over things. I had a back doctor try to tell me that I needed back surgery to fix the problem. Thank God my husband insisted that I get a 2nd opinion. As it turns out, I did have a herniated disc, but it was very mild as they go and he said that most people my age (48 now, but 47 then) have a herniated disc to some degree or other. He said that mine was not what was causing my problem. I already deal with neuropathy, so I just assumed the fact that I lost more feeling to my left calf and foot was due to the neuropathy. This was not the case. Long story short, my peronial nerve was blocked big time. I had surgery to have it unblocked and now I can walk correctly and no more foot drop. What a relief!! I thought I was going to end up crippled. I'm so glad I got that 2nd opinion!!!!!
