hi im wondering if anyone can tell me what ossiffication at fusion site means? and if someone could explain it .thanks guys!!! :)))

  • Ossification is the formation of bone.
  • Im not completely sure but something like bone formation or a conversion to bone that can increase and the ligaments i think can become thicker and turn into a solid spike of bone sometimes in the spinal canal and can over time press into the spinal cord. now please dont take my word for this because like i said im not sure, i used to remember everything that i would read but not anymore.. i just thought i would let you know what i think it means,

i hope someone can help you more than i can because i just dont know for sure... patsy
